Happy Harvest!!

Well, once again its been far too long since I updated. Our summer went very fast. July was full of camping and then I worked 6 weeks, which brought us to the middle of September and harvest. Harvest once again is busy, but thats a good thing! Dawson and I get some quality time together and he gets excited to see daddy when we visit him in the tractor.

Here Dawson is under his mobile. He doesn't like it anymore because he would rather sit up and play with toys. Hes getting to be so grown up!

Jeff and Melissa Beyer invited us over to play in their pool one afternoon. Dawson LOVES the water.

This is what he thinks about sweet potatoes. (even with some brown sugar added!) But he does love his peas and carrots!

In the beginning of October, I went to the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure 5k walk with Amanda in Omaha. It was amazing to see all the people there. We heard there were about 25,000 there!! It was a brisk morning so we bundled up!

FIRST HAIRCUT TIME!!! We've come to realize that we aren't going to be able to do ANYTHING with his spikey hair, but his hair was over his ears so we got a little haircut. He did good, as long as we fed him puffs!!

Summer Fun!

July has been a busy month with camping, camping and more camping. It was alot of fun, but its good to sleep in our own beds for a few consecutive nights!

Travis and Amber Jansma came to visit us when we were camping in Yankton. This is Dawson and one of his 'girlfriends' Gracelyn! Aren't they cute together?

In the middle of July, Aaron's brother Joel and wife Amanda came to visit from Georgia with their 3 kiddos. It was there first time to meet Dawson. He got LOTS of attention! Here with Karsyn, who loved to hold him, 'even though he drooled!'

Last weekend we went camping in Rock Valley at RiversBend. Its very nice and has a nice beach. The water was so warm, but was still a good relief from the heat. Dawson enjoyed it so much, he fell asleep!

First camping trip of the summer!

We went for our first camping trip of the summer to Yankton. Luke and Adara joined us. Dawson did really well!!

Aaron wanted to take Dawson to the Aquarium. Dawson was mesmerised, but not at the fish, at the bubbles!

4 months

Dawson is 4 months already! Wow, how time flies! Here are a few pictures I took today!

The past week Dawson and I went down to play with Baby Ryanna (Pat and Mary Henry's new daughter!) While we were down there we stayed with Dan, Amanda and Katie! Katie thinks Dawson is pretty cool. One morning she sang him this song over and over before she had to leave for daycare! Dawson just stared at her and smiled!

We got out Dawson's jumperoo! He really likes it and entertains himself with the toys on it!

SO happy in the mornings!

12 weeks

I can't beleive Dawon is 12 weeks old already! He's definaltely at a fun age-he's full of coos and smiles and occasional giggles! When I was taking pictures he wanted to talk the whole time, but didn't have too many smiles, so the pictures aren't the best...hopfully he smiles more for his 3 month pictures on Tuesday with AdaraPhotography!

It's been awhile!

Well, its been awhile since I've updated the blog. Time sure seems to fly these days! Dawson is growing like a weed and is almost 12 weeks old already! If only pregancy went this quickly! Here are a few pics from the past few weeks. More to come when I take his 12 week pictures.

We went to Rochester for our doctors appointment with Dr. Ackerman for our Long QT.
